It's great to have you back. I've been looking foward to your posts! This reminds me of a co-worker's story recently, although it's not entirely related to organization. He went deer hunting, caught nothing, but then ran into a deer on the way home! He caught a deer, but not the way he had planned!

It's not important how you get organized only when you get organized. I'm glad you found a system that works for you. Paperless for me is better only because I have several online businesses and each one produces so much paper. With all of the invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, receipts, etc., I found myself swimming in a sea of paper.

I tried saving my receipts by scanning them, but I ended up with a pile of receipts that I needed to scan. I now just keep them in folders by month/year. I'm glad that scanning the receipts worked for you!
